  1. you left out those of us in rural areas on wells. If the power goes out, we still need a way to get water up the well. Either a solar pump or hand pump.

  2. Talking about water storage, they actually make a product that you can add to your water and it stores for up to 5yrs. I would have to double check on the name but it’s 2 small bottles for roughly $17.00. You can add a few drops to smaller containers or add entire bottles to a 55 gal barrel and store it up to 5yrs. Just thought I’d pass that info on.

  3. I remember when California wanted to run a Water Pipeline from Lake Michigan through Wisconsin and the other states to California.
That was put a stop too by the Great Lakes Compact and Canada.
*The video is very informative and sensible. Great Work.*

  4. 1000 gallon tank (more on the way), water catchment from the barn roof, Berkey filter, and well. Backed up with solar and battery backups and dual fuel generator.

  5. in the Pacific Northwest the gov has a program that pays for some people to have water catchments on their property. The program is called *Rain Wise* . These sorts of things are seldom advertises so Check with your county for all the perks available
