Nightstick makes a ton of different lights and so here’s a look at the 2422 Dual-Output flashlight. This one is budget-friendly at around $25 and it comes in black and orange. Is this going to be a life-saver? Probably not, but it will function well as a back-up light when the power goes out or for front-country camping. Check it out.

  1. Cool light. This lumens thing is getting crazy these days. I was happy in the early 80’s hiking the deep woods with my super deluxe double D energizer krypton blaster packing 30 lumens of raw blinding yellow light for an hour or so… those were the days.

  2. Hey Tim. Thanks for the review. I have an old Eveready Industrial light for my Back Porch light, but it’s time for an Upgrade. So this one interests me. So I looked at Nightstick on Amazon, and I was impressed with the “Industrial Nature” of their Products. But something caught my eye. They have an EDC light, Model Number NSP-430. 2 AA BATTERIES, Aluminum Body, Variable from Flood to Throw, 275 Lumens for under $13 on Prime. You might want to check that out as a Budget EDC. Take Care.

  3. I like the bottom light feature. The top light was`nt as bright as you said. Love the magnet and belt clip which makes for versatility. Good utility light. I would like to see some of those same features (plus more) in an outdoors activity type of light. Good review.
