  1. You know? I don’t have to spend 100’s of dollars to have a knife that can do everything I need to do and use it everyday. I use a square point R. Murphy knife (Dexter-Russell also makes them) that is easy to sharpen, holds a wicked edge, it’s made in the USA and costs less than $15.00 in some places. As an added bonus, I can use the square part as a scraper or fire striker and if I lose it or my nephew steals it It’s no big deal. Doesn’t look menacing and love the handle also. They are also known as shoe knives or duct knives. If I need to baton, I’ll use a hatchet. You really should try them.

  2. DO you have any opinion on this compared to the LT Wright Norther Hunter? The designs seem so similar, why might someone pick one over the other?
